Newtown is mostly newer housing by lower Bucks standards: colonials and townhomes from the 80s through the 2000s across Newtown Township, plus the historic borough with homes that go back a couple of centuries. The township houses have plywood or OSB subfloors, full basements and a lot of builder-grade carpet and thin hardwood that homeowners are now replacing with waterproof plank.
